Switzerland in the World - the World in Switzerland
What is the shape of the world today: is it round, flat or a pyramid? The global business environment changed dramatically in recent decades. Globalization and the opening up of new markets in emerging economies have created new opportunities but also raised new threats.
By taking Switzerland as an example, this year's Joint Alumni Conference analyzes the impact of globalization on corporations and its leaders: What is Switzerland Inc.'s place within the globalized world? Where has its competitive advantages been strengthened respectively eroded? What can Switzerland do that still makes it a global hub for multinational companies? How can companies prevail in a more competitive globalized environment? How can business leaders navigate in the faster paced new business world to make the right decision? Distinguished business and academic thought leaders will address these questions and share their latest business thinking in keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive knowledge sessions.
